B.C. announces expansion of seamless child care program


At a news conference in Langley, British Columbia ministers Jennifer Whiteside (education) and Katrina Chen (boy or girl care) announce an expansion of B.C.’s seamless childcare pilot application. The program gives just before- and right after-school treatment for school-aged small children in their own schools, and will be implemented in an more 21 colleges more than the up coming calendar year to bring the whole selection of universities functioning the program to 25. The ministers are joined by Rod Ross, chair of the Langley School Board, and Lisa Lainchbury, district principal of early discovering and safe universities with the Langley Faculty District.
